The journal of Hydrogen, Fuel Cell & Energy Storage (HFE) is a peer-reviewed open-access international quarterly journal in English devoted to the fields of hydrogen, fuel cell, and energy storage, published by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). It is scientifically sponsored by the Iranian Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA) and the Electrochemical Society of Iran. This interdisciplinary journal covers all aspects at the forefront of original research in H₂ and fuel cell fields, batteries, solar cells, and supercapacitors. The HFE covers all aspects of Hydrogen Energy, including production, storage, transmission, utilization, enabling technologies, environmental impact, economic and international aspects of hydrogen and hydrogen carriers such as NH₃, CH₄, alcohols, etc. The HFE publishes original research and review articles about the science and technologies of: the production, purification, and application of H₂, H₂ reformers and catalysts, Fuel cells, and their applications, Performance of fuel cells, H₂ storage, Modeling and simulations, Safety in H₂ and fuel cell technology, and related research work on H₂ and Fuel cells. batteries, solar cells, and supercapacitors. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original articles, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations. The journal aims to publish research and review papers on the most recent issues and developments in the field. All papers are subject to a double-blind reviewing process.
